Red Dress

It all started because of a request to see the scale in my landscape photos. Insert learning to take self portraits here. I had already branded myself as Roux Roamer so I thought my dress would have to be red. I’m also very big into complementary colors. The best color to complement green is red and I love shooting in my home state of Oregon when I’m not able to travel the world. I wanted a beautiful dress that had a great back since I would mostly be facing away from the camera for my photos or as I like to call them, my stories. I also needed something that would flow in the wind or when it was tossed into the air. The dress had to be big and flowy. It had to hide my shoes because I’m a wimp when it comes to having my bare feet touch the ground. It was a tall order, pun intended, but I finally found someone to custom make my dress. Now, the red dress has been to more countries then some people. It’s been a fun adventure. If you like it too, I’m happy to print one for you.
