Description
According to Howard Schultz, President, CEO and Chairman of Starbucks “A great brand raises the bar — it adds a greater sense of purpose to the experience, whether it’s the challenge to do your best in sports and fitness, or the affirmation that the cup of coffee you’re drinking really matters.”
Brands are made up of names, tag lines, colors, sounds, scents, designs, symbols or other identifying features such as a logo. BUT before you get to any of these things you need to get more foundational. We need to understand our personalities and our businesses. THIS is what I want to help you with in this brand workshop. The foundation that makes a good logo and ultimately a good brand.
Logos don’t start with colors, symbols or fonts. That’s what you get to after you do the foundational discovery work for your business. Think about a play and all the work that goes into costumes and memorizing lines and marketing. That’s a lot of behind the scenes work that you never see but you enjoy the end result if they have done their job right. Are you with me?
Target didn’t start off being the chic Tar-jay that it is now. It used to be in direct competition with lower priced, not as cool Wal-Mart. They did a lot of behind the scenes work to get where they are today. Are you ready to do that work to make your brand shine?
I want your logo to be done and final and awesome. I don’t want you to have to think about that anymore in your business and let you focus on what you do best.
I want to teach you no BS branding.
Here’s some of the BS you’ve probably heard about branding and logo creation.
– Going to Fiverr gets you a unique logo.
– Doing your own logo with no outside input is a good idea.
– Your friend took a design class back in college so they can do your logo.
– You took a DIY course on designing a logo so it’s all good.
– You know what your customers like without talking to them or researching them.
By taking this brand workshop and doing the worksheets you are saving money when working with me or another designer because you already have your brand discovery work done. You’ll have done your avatar and your competitor research. You’ll have talked to your peers and potential clients. You’ve now saved yourself $1,000 in working with me one on one creating your logo.
